From Amsterdam in The Netherlands came this colorful print that we double matted and framed under Museum Glass in a matte silver metal frame.

 

From New Zealand we have these beautiful indigenous art pieces that were both painted on canvas. They came to us rolled up and we restretched them onto stretcher bars and framed in the same narrow black frame without glass.

 

This beautifully colorful circle art was brought back from Tibet is framed under Conservation Clear glass that has 99% UV protection but has a reflection just like regular glass. Framed in a textured gold frame.

 

Remembering a great trip with items you brought back to be framed. Three pieces put into the same frame. We put a medium brown mat board behind each one so there would be color showing through the openings in the three dimensional art. Then we floated all three on top of a black mat board and used spacers to lift the Museum glass off of the art pieces. It is all framed in a traditional rustic scoop frame with black on the inside portion and a light brown outside edge.

 

Have you brought back a rolled up canvas from one of your travels? This client had us stretch it on to stretcher bars and then frame it with the ultra skinny contemporary black floater frame with a space between the edge of the canvas and the inside edge of the frame.

This menu has an acid-free backing and Museum Glass with 99% UV protection in a small dark brown traditional scoop frame.

 

Are you needing a way to preserve a family vacation? This multi-opening single black mat is a great way to showcase parts of maps highlighting a family skiing trip. With an additional opening to hold a family photo it gives it balanced proportions. Utilizing two maps to mount images from each side onto foamcore board makes them lay nice and flat. With regular clear glass and a contemporary flat black frame, the design is kept simple enough for the maps to be the focal point.

 

This signed & numbered print by Richard Rankin of the TV show Outlander features Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon. It was double matted under Museum Glass in a traditional brown wood frame.

Our client renewed their wedding vows on their 40th Anniversary from this same spot with this view.

This poster of Cypress was dry mounted and framed under Museum Glass in a two tone traditional scoop style frame.

Painted bark from Mexico is floated on a coordinating color matboard to show the edges under regular clear glass, all in a contrasting carved ornate frame.

 

A print of Manhattan from an 1850's map. It's just over 42 inches wide and 74 inches tall!! All done in a wide gold frame under regular plexiglass. The client had it mounted at Oregon Blue Print because it was too big for our heat press.

 

Our client brought this print back from their travels to Vienna's Austrian Gallery when they viewed the original of Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss". This large print was mounted with Ultra Preserve heat mount to lay it flat after it had been rolled. Then a double mat with an added black color strip was added to a stacked frame made from two different mouldings, an ornated gold and a smooth dark brown used inside. Placed under museum glass to make it look like the classic piece of art it is!

 

This original oil painting was brought back from our client's travels rolled up and needed to be stretched on to strainer bars and then framed with a black rustic frame with a texture resembling wormholes. It turned out beautiful!!

 

This beautiful signed and numbered print of a pen and ink drawing of the iconic London landmark, the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben was reframed using matching mats of charcoal gray and white. Then framed in this stunning contemporary black frame with silver edging, all behind museum glass.

A fun scratch off map that was dry mounted to lay flat with a 5" black matboard added so the customer can add photos. There is no glass so they can scratch off spaces as needed. Framed in a 1" traditional black moulding.

This is a special travel memento from a trip to Paris France. Our guest was able to bring home a rolled canvas that we stretched over wooden strainer bars. This example shows how it was wrapped to show the most of the image from the front and left some of the white edges on the sides. These would be covered if and when the guest wishes to put a frame on this canvas. However, it is still able to be displayed and hung as is. The following pictures show all the corners and sides as well as the what it looks like from the back. Having a canvas "Gallery Wrapped" would have some of the painted image wrapped all the way around the sides so that you can see it from a side view and is usually done when a frame is never intending to be added to a canvas.
