Are you needing a way to preserve a family vacation? This multi-opening single black mat is a great way to showcase parts of maps highlighting a family skiing trip. With an additional opening to hold a family photo it gives it balanced proportions. Utilizing two maps to mount images from each side onto foamcore board makes them lay nice and flat. With regular clear glass and a contemporary flat black frame, the design is kept simple enough for the maps to be the focal point.

 

How do you display Dad's 15 well read and beloved comic books from his childhood? His adult children have even handled and read them all, but you want to display them? Put three each into five frames. With Marvel Avengers featuring Captain America, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Captain Marvel, Warlock and Iron Fist a silver frame with three dimensional carved stars seemed like the perfect frame. Using a black mat to put a border around them and all under 99% UV protected Museum Glass.

 

Meet Trubel (pronounced like trouble)...a custom portrait, dog collar with tags, paw and nose prints on paper, cast of pawprint, some snips of fur in an acrylic box, and his favorite rocks.

The dog collar is hand sewn through the layers of a double mat with three openings, while the plaster cast of the pawprint is glued on to the top of the matting.

Both of the rocks and the acrylic box holding snips of Trubel's fur are adhered to the inside base of the frame. All of this is behind the magnificence of Museum Glass with 99% UV protection and the special anti-reflection coating that makes it look like there isn't any glass!

These birthstone paintings were mounted using Preserve Ultra with coordinating top mats and either gold or silver mats underneath. All framed with a painted black wood frame under Conservation Clear glass with 99% UV protection.

This is a great way to preserve the 12 pictures from a calendar! One large black mat was cut with 12 openings and each picture already had the gold border around each image. They were taped into each opening and framed under regular glass in a traditional one inch black frame.
