This print of an original pen and ink drawing of the doorway of a church in Brooklyn, New York was mounted with Preserve Ultra acid-free mounting to lay flat and double matted with black and a matching white top mat under regular glass in a black frame with a nice bevel on the inside edge.

 

A black frame only can be really beautiful if you change up the profile and make it glossy. This poster of the bridges over the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon shows how a glossy frame with a deep bevel can elevate your art from a plain black metal frame.

Here is a set we did for a customer featuring Martini, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Negroni, and New York Sour. Art prints in a traditional black frame under regular glass and mounted in the vacuum heat press to lay nice and flat.

Have you got a concert poster needing to be framed? Check out one we recently finished of Trey Anastasio Band from September 25, 2022 at McMenamins Edgefield here in Troutdale, Oregon. We dry mounted this to a foamcore board in the vacuum heat press. It is framed in a traditional one inch black frame under regular glass.

 

Are movies your thing? Do you love the art of movie posters? How about "Fantastic Mr. Fox"? This was dry mounted onto foamcore board and framed under regular glass in a rustic brown frame that accents the look nicely.

 

Do you have a jigsaw puzzle that is a custom size and/or shape? Have you ever wanted to frame your jigsaw puzzle? Check out these abstract colored puzzles in the shape of Snoopy from Peanuts. We floated them on top of a white background underneath regular glass in matching black contemporary flat frames. How fun is that?!!

 

Do you love gnomes? Here's some "Watermelon gnomes" for you!! This adorable cross stitch on white linen is a great example of some bright colors, but as you can see we did a triple mat with a matching white on top. When we matched the correct pink and green mats all you saw was the matting, but adding a third mat to soften the colors brings your eye back to the focal point...the gnomes! We hand stretched the fabric on to acid-free foamcore board and put regular glass in a traditional thin white frame.

 

The latest craft trend is Diamond Painting where you "paint" by number with rhinestones and beads to have a more three dimensional feel to your art. This religious art has two rows of beads along the outside edge just inside the double mat and larger beads accenting the halo and clothing. We mounted the canvas to foamcore board in the heat press and then used regular glass in a traditional dark brown frame with a gold lip. The second photo is from our client after they got it home.
