A client brought in five full newspapers from the day of the historic headlines. We cut the front page along the side seam and mounted it on acid-free black mounting board (words from opposite side won't show) and matted with a single acid free black mat and put into matching beveled black frames, all under Conservation Clear Glass with 99% UV protection. Designed to have all five frames the same height, yet different widths due to sizes of newspapers. We folded the remaining newspaper and place inside of cellophane bag and slid into envelope pocket on back of frame.

A client's personal collection of signed and numbered Barbie fashion prints were all framed under Museum Glass with 99% UV protection and anti-reflection in the same textured and sculptural champagne gold frame to show off each design.

This print of an original pen and ink drawing of the doorway of a church in Brooklyn, New York was mounted with Preserve Ultra acid-free mounting to lay flat and double matted with black and a matching white top mat under regular glass in a black frame with a nice bevel on the inside edge.

 

A black frame only can be really beautiful if you change up the profile and make it glossy. This poster of the bridges over the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon shows how a glossy frame with a deep bevel can elevate your art from a plain black metal frame.

 

Many stitchers are referred to us by the Local Needlework Shop (LNS) Acorns and Threads that is located in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of Portland. They bring us beautiful hand stitched needlepoint pieces to be blocked and hand stretched. These two were stretched over quilt batting to give them a more three dimensional puffy look. We added single mats and then lifted the Museum Glass with spacers to not squish the stitching.

A beautiful sunset photograph of Pacific City, Oregon. We mounted in the heat press with Preserve Ultra which is acid-free and fully reversible with a single mat in an etched black metallic finished wood frame under AR glass with 78% UV protection and anti-reflection.

 

A big project for a client was 12 original movie posters from the 1970s and 1980 that had been previously conservation mounted that we framed under Conservation Clear Glass with 99% UV protection in minimal black metal frames.

 

RPG players love their collectible cards, but they especially love an uncut sheet of Magic the Gathering (MTG) cards. This oversize sheet received a single black mat and Museum Optium Plexiglass with 99% UV protection and anti-reflection to give this piece shatter proof and lightweight manuverability. All museum mounted and framed in a textured dark brown wood frame to show off it's many colors.

 

Jigsaw puzzles are very popular items to get framed with Museum Glass for 99% UV protection against fading and anti-reflection to see the image clearly. Many look great with colored frames while gold frames make them look fancy.
