One of the fun parts of custom picture framing that the clients rarely get to experience is the thrill of seeing each element of the design being added. Clients usually bring in their unframed pieces and then come back to pick up their completed frame jobs.

Picture one is the art after its been mounted in a vacuum heat press onto Acid Free Preserve Ultra mounting board which, by the way, is completely reversible.

Picture two has the acid free double mat added.

Picture three has the frame laying on it without the glass added.

Picture four is of the completed frame job after the glass, paper and wire has been added onto the back of the frame.

It's such a lovely view of Mt. St. Helens from Scappoose, Oregon.

A client brought in this print of an old Russian Orthodox Icon that he received from a family member. He was advised to go to a local custom picture framer and make sure that they put Museum Glass on it. So, after mounting it on Acid Free Preserve Ultra, to make sure it stays nice and flat (and it's reversible), we framed it in this gorgeous traditional brown, black, and gold wood frame that has an inside double lip also in gold. It turned out beautifully and the client was very happy when he came to pick it up!!!
