This beautiful photograph art was mounted using Preserve Ultra acid free foamcore and double matted with an additional colorstrip of yellow all under museum glass in a contemporary metallic finished wood frame.

This gorgeous painting of a monk on a bicycle is mounted with Preserve Ultra on to a cream colored acid free foamcore board with a triple mat under museum glass in a black rustic frame.

 

This canvas print of the Taylor Swift "Eras" tour poster is mounted onto foamcore and put into a traditional white frame with no glass because it's printed on to canvas. Makes for a very safe and lightweight poster size art.

 

This little painting on canvas was mounted onto acid free foamcore using Preserve Ultra which is reversable and does not harm the canvas. Then it was framed in a traditional wood frame with a round gold fillet just inside the edge and without any glass. It looks so good!

 

This beautiful print was floated on top of a coordinating mat board to be able to show every inch of the art that came out to the edge of the paper. The wood frame has a dark gray iron metallic finish with dental edging on the outside edge. It is displayed under Museum Glass with 99% UV protection and that no glass look. It turned out #Gorgeous!

 

Have you got a concert poster needing to be framed? Check out one we recently finished of Trey Anastasio Band from September 25, 2022 at McMenamins Edgefield here in Troutdale, Oregon. We dry mounted this to a foamcore board in the vacuum heat press. It is framed in a traditional one inch black frame under regular glass.

 

Are movies your thing? Do you love the art of movie posters? How about "Fantastic Mr. Fox"? This was dry mounted onto foamcore board and framed under regular glass in a rustic brown frame that accents the look nicely.

 

Just in time to hang in his dorm room!! This Portland Winterhawks hockey player's jersey and medal were hand sewn down to a black mat board and shadow boxed with red inside the sides of the contemporary black frame all under Museum glass with 99% UV protection and reflection control that makes it look like there is no glass!!

 

Before and After...This Stevie Nicks poster was brought in framed in a rose red metal frame with non-glare glass on it and the client didn't like the feel of it. So we switched out for a wider black frame with raised silver dots and changed to UV70 glass which has that beautiful look of no glass so you can see all the detail!!

 

Are you a sports nut? Check out this autographed basketball jersey of Shaquille O'Neal. We hand sewed it down to a black mat and then lifted a double mat of the purple and gold to match. Framed in a contemporary black frame under Conservation Clear glass that is 99% UV protected to help keep the autograph from fading.

 

Do you love "Fan Art"? Are maps your passion? Here is a "Fan Art" Map of Roshar from The Stormlight Archives book series by Brandon Sanderson. This really cool map of the fictional land of Roshar is made with metallic inks so there is a light sheen to the entire thing. This was framed without a mat in a traditional shaped frame with a contemporary metallic finish that appears distressed or acid washed in a copper tone using Conservation Clear glass with 99% UV protection.

 

Have you ever had your framed art get damaged? Either in a move or it just jumping off of the wall? This matted print of Thomas Kinkade's art was originally purchased already matted and framed over a decade ago, but the glass broke and the frame was damaged beyond repair, so we reframed it with an ornate gold frame and added Conservation Clear glass with 99% UV protection. It's like updating an old friend and the original mat was not damaged so we were able to reuse it.

 

Have you brought back a rolled up canvas from one of your travels? This client had us stretch it on to stretcher bars and then frame it with the ultra skinny contemporary black floater frame with a space between the edge of the canvas and the inside edge of the frame.

This original painting on canvas of a vase of sunflowers needed a dark brown frame that has a light natural tan edging on both the inside and outside edges. Doesn't it look wonderful? We floated them on top of a white background underneath regular glass in matching black contemporary flat frames. How fun is that?!!

 

This beautiful original pastel drawing of Multnomah Falls required a reverse bevel cut on the double mat. Framed in a traditional two tone wood frame featuring a deep purple with a tan outer lip underneath Conservation Clear glass with 99% UV protection. Such beautiful fall colors in this original drawing by a local artist.

 

How to commemorate that new job? Frame the first dollar you earned!! We floated this one dollar bill on top of a black mat and framed it with an ornate black frame that features a silver lip, all under Museum Glass for UV protection and that "no glass" look!

 

This amazing art print by Chris Austin is another one we've done for our client who loves his art! The print came rolled in a tube so we used Preserve Ultra acid-free mounting in the vacuum heat press to make it lay nice and flat. Then we added a double mat and a dark brown/black rustic frame with UV70 glass.

 

Here in Oregon we love our trees!! This imprint of a slice of tree is an Artist's Proof that was on very thin paper. We used Preserve Ultra acid-free mounting in the vacuum heat press to make it lay nice and flat. Then it has a single black mat in a rustic black frame with UV70 glass that is 70% UV Protected with the anti-reflective coating similar to museum glass.

 

Are you a sloth person? These adorable coordinating prints are for Collin's baby room. The prints are dry mounted on to foamcore board to lay flat after coming rolled up in a tube. We then double matted them and used regular plexiglass for safety in a child's room. All framed in a contemporary flat black frame.

 

When this oversized dupioni silk fabric was hanging on a rod until it started to disintegrate our client brought it in and asked how we could frame it so they could still enjoy it's beauty while preserving it from further decay. We hand sewed along the top seam line to a cotton fabric in a coordinating color which we then stretched over an acid-free foamcore board. To keep it lightweight we used plexiglass with 99% UV protection and a non-glare coating to protect it from fading. The frame is a contemporary flat face with a light tan line on both the inside and outside edge.

 

Small 4x6 original colorful abstract portrait of our client is mounted on foamcore to raise and float atop a black mat with a maroon suede single mat surrounding it that is raised with spacers to highlight the three dimensional feel. Framed in a wooden frame featuring a contemporary metallic black finish and using 99% UV protected Museum Glass for that invisible look. What a fun little piece!!

 

Do you love gnomes? Here's some "Watermelon gnomes" for you!! This adorable cross stitch on white linen is a great example of some bright colors, but as you can see we did a triple mat with a matching white on top. When we matched the correct pink and green mats all you saw was the matting, but adding a third mat to soften the colors brings your eye back to the focal point...the gnomes! We hand stretched the fabric on to acid-free foamcore board and put regular glass in a traditional thin white frame.

 

This sweet little beach scene is a 10x8 original painting on a canvas board that we put on a double mat with a contemporary gray patterned frame under 70% UV protection glass called Ultra Vue 70 (UV70) that gives that invisible look similar to museum glass without the museum price.

 

The latest craft trend is Diamond Painting where you "paint" by number with rhinestones and beads to have a more three dimensional feel to your art. This religious art has two rows of beads along the outside edge just inside the double mat and larger beads accenting the halo and clothing. We mounted the canvas to foamcore board in the heat press and then used regular glass in a traditional dark brown frame with a gold lip. The second photo is from our client after they got it home.

 

Are you needing a way to preserve a family vacation? This multi-opening single black mat is a great way to showcase parts of maps highlighting a family skiing trip. With an additional opening to hold a family photo it gives it balanced proportions. Utilizing two maps to mount images from each side onto foamcore board makes them lay nice and flat. With regular clear glass and a contemporary flat black frame, the design is kept simple enough for the maps to be the focal point.

 

Religious art is very popular...this print was mounted using Preserve Ultra and acid-free mounting board used in the vacuum heat press which is reversible without leaving any adhesives on the print. Matted using a single gold metallic mat with regular glass all in a contemporary flat, square, black frame.

 

A vintage black & white photograph is great, but watch what happens as you add a double mat and then the frame...STUNNING!! The fourth pic is the finished product with 99% UV protected Museum Glass for that no glass look in a rustic black frame with touches of gray in it.
